Wilson Commons at the University of Rochester is comprised of two triangular shaped buildings connected by a huge space frame glass enclosure.  Among other delays to this magnificent building, the glass enclosure and the designed mullion system came under scrutiny in the wake of failure of a similar system used on a notable High Rise in Boston.  Tests of the horizontal glass continuously failed and resulted in redesign of the mullion system. Substantial loss of time occurred with additional delays occurring from the financial failure of the initial General Contractor.
